Melina’s work begins with curiosity and happy accidents.

She makes original paintings and paper goods using wet-on-wet watercolor, letting pigment and water move freely across the page. As the paint dries, soft forms emerge that can never quite be repeated.

Her practice is about slowing down, playing around, and seeing what happens.

She was born in Los Angeles, where she continues to live and create.
